PROFILE
Lainie is a lawyer at the firm and practices exclusively in the area of Immigration Law. She advises her clients on all matters relating to Canadian immigration law and U.S. NAFTA immigration issues.
Her clients include senior executives, individuals, entertainers and athletes as well as institutions and large multinational organizations.
Lainie advises her clients with respect to obtaining work permits for business and professional opportunities in Canada. She also assists in making applications for permanent residence in Canada based on the Federal Skilled Worker, Canada Experience Class, Business Immigration and Family Class categories. Additionally, Lainie routinely uses the provisions of NAFTA to assist Canadian and Mexican clients seeking entry to the U.S. She regularly submits files to and Canadian Embassies around the world and U.S. Embassies in Canada.
